2017 Volkswargen GTI mk7

Selling a car on return from expatriation

I would like to sell my car as I am returning to Japan after my stay.

■ Overview
The model is Volkswagen GTI mk7 Automatic, body is white hatchback, drive system is FF with paddle shift.
Purchased new in 2017, we are the only owners, and with the Corona, the mileage has not increased much, about 70K miles.
Never had any accidents, inspected every year, oil changed about every 5K miles, and I keep all those records.

■ Equipment
Heated seats and rearview monitor are standard, rubber floor mats for all seats, trunk mat, tonneau cover, spare tire.
There are two keys, which, if in your possession, can be unlocked automatically by touching the door knob.
A GARMIN drive recorder and a snow shovel brush are also included free of charge.
We also have a lot of furniture that is not needed and will consider giving it away for free as well if you would like anything.

■ Usability of the car itself
Nice car with very strong acceleration and straightforward operation.
I don't feel underpowered at all on the highway, and the compact size makes it easy to drive in Manhattan.
It is well designed as a hatchback, and the rear seats do not feel cramped at all, even for a 183cm tall person like me.
The rear seats are 7:3 split-folding and have a trunk-through mechanism, so it is possible to carry long items.
I have driven on snowy roads, including ski slopes, and have not experienced any problems.

■ Remarks
We will be away from mid-January to mid-February and will return at the end of February.

We live on Long Island, but you are welcome to pre-check and test drive before purchase.
Depending on the location, we may be able to come out and check the car, so please contact us if you wish.
We may go to the New Jersey area, so please contact us first.
We would be happy to discuss the transfer process with you and hope to be flexible.
