＜ Objectives of Hawaii Senior Life Association ＞

1. to make active senior living in Hawaii a reality for its members
2. to help Japanese and American seniors make friends in Hawaii
3. Grassroots activities for US-Japan friendship and world exchange through interaction among seniors

Hawaii Senior Life Association was established to help Japanese-speaking active seniors enjoy their time in Hawaii more.
We hold over 200 events a year, including regular events every Friday as well as various special events such as lectures and concerts.
The club also offers ukulele ・ circles, qigong, karaoke, indoor games, and other circle activities that allow members to interact with each other.
The club is managed by a number of volunteers, including the board members. If you want to enjoy your second life in Hawaii and make friends, please join us.

Activities of the Hawaii Senior Life Association cover a wide range of activities such as golf, hiking, seminars, and lunches. Members receive a monthly "Hawaii Letter" and "Event Information" each month. In addition, we offer a variety of member benefits in cooperation with local restaurants and businesses.

■ Q : Do I have to live in Hawaii to be a member? ？
You can become a member of Hawaii Senior Life Association no matter where you live. Currently, our members reside in Japan, Hawaii, and the mainland U.S., as well as in Canada.

■ Q : Is there an age limit for membership ？
There is no age limit to become a member.

■ Q : What are the benefits of membership? ？
Members receive the Hawaii Bulletin twice a month and a schedule of events for the following month. Members can attend regular events, lectures, and special events at member rates. Members also have access to the Information Center on the 11th floor of the Waikiki Business Plaza, free use of the Hislea ・ Oasis on the basement level of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, and special discounts at partner restaurants listed in the deals section.

■ Q : What kind of events do you have ？
Hawaii Senior Life Association holds the following regular events every Friday as "Senior Friday".
1st Friday: Dinner and art gallery tours in downtown on the popular "First Friday"
2nd Friday: Senior Life Seminar ： Seminars on a wide variety of topics including Hawaii health care, opening a bank account, visas, history, etc.
3rd Friday: Yacht Club for members only Chat at the Club （ with meals ）
4th Friday: Golf at the scenic Pearl Country Club （ Note ） Golf is not limited to Fridays.
