To celebrate Silicon Valley Reads [ https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/2025 ], drop by the library to play on the Nintendo Switch! Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros will be available for freeplay.

*For children in grades 2-6.*

Silicon Valley Reads is a community engagement program that features books and an annual theme to bring people together by providing more than 100 free, public events each year in February and March. Events for all ages [ https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/calendar ] include author talks, book clubs, art/music events, community activities, arts and crafts, movies, and creative events or activities based on the theme each year.

The theme this year is "Empowering Humanity: Technology for a Better World. [ https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/2025 ]" We will learn from those on the forefront of the AI movement, explore ways in which technology impacts our daily lives and future, address questions related to ethics, and discuss how we can create a positive impact using the tools that are rapidly becoming accessible to each of us. We hope you will join us for these important learning opportunities and conversations.
