昨日の朝、私が加入している町会主催の清掃活動に参加しました。
私は週に１度、家の周りと最寄りのバス停までの間を清掃しているのですが、今回は、そこからちょっと足を伸ばした先で清掃活動を行ったところ、溝等に傘や空き缶などが結構捨てられており、１時間余りでかなりの量のゴミを集めることができました。
町会の清掃活動には多くの方が参加されており、一人で清掃している時とは違う爽快感を味わうことができたとともに、和泉市民の方が、キレイなまちをつくるため、自主的に行動されていることの素晴らしさを改めて感じました。
まちの清掃というものは、一人だけではなかなか行動に移しにくいものですが、かと言って町会・自治会等から声が掛かるまで待っていては、いつできるかわかりません。
たばこの吸い殻一つでも拾えば、その分だけ確実に奇麗になりますので、まずはご自宅の前から始めていただくなど、市民皆様の一人ひとりの力で「日本一美しいまち和泉」を実現してまいりましょう。
