令和５年の火災統計では、春季（３月〜５月）に年間の約３割の火災が発生しています。そのうち山菜取りや農作業で山に入る機会が多く、「たき火・火入れ・たばこ」が原因の火災が３割を占めています。
春先は、空気が乾燥し、強風により火災が燃え広がる危険が高い季節です。気象ニュースで「フェーン現象」と聞いたら、南寄りの乾燥した風が市内にも吹き込みますので、屋外での火の取扱いは、止めるようにしましょう。
また、４月１日から４月７日まで「春の火災予防運動」が実施されます。市内各地で防火パトロールや消防訓練を実施しますので、市民の皆様のご協力をお願いします。
３月31日（土）午前10時から正午までマックスバリュー駐車場にて消防イベントを開催します。消防車の展示や煙体験、消火器取扱いなどを体験し、火災予防の知識、技術を１UPしませんか？
火の用心をお願いします。
※消防本部では、連動型住宅用火災警報器を65歳以上のみの世帯、避難行動要支援者（妊産婦、乳幼児・児童、65歳以上で日中家族が不在となり一人になる者も含まれます）等に対して設置費用の２分の１を補助します。
