*_Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts – Seafair Weekend_*

The Seafair Air Show is an annual event that will be held August 2-4, 2024 over Lake Washington. Please expect a significant increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the weekend, especially in the south end of Medina.

According to the Seafair website [ https://www.seafair.org/ ], the airshow will take place mainly between approximately 11am and 4pm Friday through Sunday. Several years ago, the bulk of the airshow was shifted south of I-90 and no longer directly above the Points Communities.

You will see all of the members of the Medina Police Department throughout the communities day and night as we work hard to keep everyone safe throughout the weekend. Please remember to drive slowly and be aware of the increase in pedestrian traffic, most notably children. Your help is greatly appreciated in keeping our communities a wonderful place to be!
