いかがでしたでしょうか。
日本の古紙のリサイクルの歴史は古く、奈良時代にまでさかのぼるといわれています。
驚きですね。
終戦の年の1945年には一人当たりわずか4kgだった紙の消費量も、経済復興後の1965年には74kgに増加しました。
では、その量は、2000年にはどのくらいになったと思いますか。
1.約100 kg 2.約150 kg 3.約250 kg
正解は、3番の「約250 kg」です！
終戦から2000年までの55年の間に、私たちの生活が変わり、紙の消費量は60倍以上にもなっているのですね。
紙のリサイクルは、貴重な資源の再利用でもあり、森林資源を守っていくことにもつながります。
今月の内容については、古紙再生促進センター、全国牛乳容器環境協議会のホームページ資料をもとに作成いたしました。
今後とも紙のリサイクルにご理解とご協力をよろしくお願いいたします。
