8月8日16時43分に発生した日向灘を震源とするマグニチュード7.1の地震を受け、同日19時15分に次の巨大地震に注意を呼び掛ける「南海トラフ地震臨時情報（巨大地震注意）」が発表されました。
気象庁によると、大規模地震発生の可能性が平常時と比べて相対的に高まっていることから、今後１週間程度は注意が必要とされています。
つきましては、引き続き気象庁等からの情報を注視していただくとともに、今一度日頃からの備え（家具の固定、避難経路・避難場所の確認等）の再確認をお願いします。
