本日６月１７日、福岡管区気象台は、熊本県を含む九州北部地方が梅雨入りしたと見られると発表しました。
梅雨期間中は、大雨や長雨などによる災害の危険性が高くなります。
本市に大きな被害をもたらした「令和２年７月豪雨」のように、急激に発達した線状降水帯などによる突発的な大雨も心配されます。
日頃から気象情報に十分注意し、事前にハザードマップにより避難場所・避難ルートを確認するとともに、飲食物の備蓄や非常用持出袋の準備などの防災対策をお願いします。
なお、避難とは「難」を「避」けることであり、安全な場所にいる人は避難所に行く必要はありません。
また、避難先も市が設置する指定避難所だけでなく、密を避けるという感染対策としても、安全な場所の親戚や知人宅に避難することもご検討ください。
