City of Toronto to announce 2024 Women4ClimateTO winners

Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie (Scarborough—Rouge Park) and Selina Young, Director, Indigenous Affairs Office, City of Toronto, will announce the winner of the fourth annual pitch competition as part of the Women4ClimateTO celebration event tomorrow.

Date: Tuesday, June 18
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Toronto City Hall, Member’s Lounge, 100 Queen St. W.

The Women4ClimateTO Mentorship Program provides training and networking opportunities to help local women entrepreneurs advance their climate-related projects and business ventures. In their fourth annual pitch competition, 10 local entrepreneurs pitched their climate-related initiatives to a panel of judges for a chance to claim the grand prize of $20,000 and two secondary prizes of $5,000 each.
