*Southern Nevada Companies Invited To Join 2025 Corporate Challenge *

"Early Registration Discounts Available Now Through Dec. 31, 2024"

The city of Las Vegas invites local companies and organizations to sign up [ https://registration.lasvegasnevada.gov/NV/las-vegas-nv/catalog/index/9ba122fff25cb0d252c2b3f464d06ba4?filter=c2VhcmNoPUNvcnBvcmF0ZSUyMENoYWxsZW5nZQ%3D%3D&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] to compete in the 2025 Corporate Challenge by Feb. 7, 2025. Early-bird discounted registration prices are offered for entry fees paid by Dec. 31, 2024.

Since 1986, the Corporate Challenge has been a healthy way for local companies and their adult employees to stay active in the community. As the largest amateur athletic competition in the State of Nevada, Corporate Challenge provides employees the opportunity for unity, teamwork and camaraderie in a fun competition that promotes company pride, corporate wellness and community socialization. Some of Southern Nevada’s most successful companies are annual participants. Well-structured events are an excellent way to encourage initiative, reward the commitment of key staff, improve morale, inspire cooperation and team spirit, and supercharge future performance.

Corporate Challenge brings the spirit of the Olympics to a local and more intimate playing field. Thirty-eight different competitive events are offered throughout the Las Vegas valley during an 11-week period from March 1 through May 17, 2025. From archery to the walk race, and everything in between, there is an event for everyone’s skills – even a torch relay, blood drive, charity challenge, weight-loss contest, Bpong, trivia challenge, chess, Esports, 8-ball and cornhole. Opening ceremonies March 1 will include family fun, a comical executive relay, lighting of the flame, and more for participating teams and their families. Download the event schedule here [ https://files.lasvegasnevada.gov/corporate-challenge/Corporate_Challenge_2025/2025_Corporate_Challenge_Schedule.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] and the handbook here [ https://files.lasvegasnevada.gov/corporate-challenge/Corporate_Challenge_2025/2025_Corporate_Challenge_Handbook.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ].

In addition to the many benefits for employees, Corporate Challenge also can be a cost-effective marketing tool to promote business and raise awareness. Throughout the 11 weeks of competition, more than 20,000 players and spectators are repeatedly exposed to company names and logos while they witness team spirit and sportsmanship. Each company that participates designs individual team shirts to wear at events. In addition, company names are displayed during opening ceremonies and mentioned throughout the events.

*     *Costs for participation range from $2,000 for companies of up to 300 employees to $2,700 for companies of 1,000 or more. Register by Dec. 31, 2024, for a $200-$300 discount off entry fees. Companies are divided into three divisions (A-C), based on the number of employees. This makes competition fairer, so companies with only a few employees are not challenging those with a base of thousands. Smaller companies that share business interests often join forces to form a combined team. Entries close Feb. 7, 2025. Once your team is registered, you will receive an email to complete the electronic entry forms.

Companies, players and spectators can share photos by joining the "Las Vegas Corporate Challenge" Facebook group at Facebook.com/groups/lvcorporatechallenge [ https://www.facebook.com/groups/lvcorporatechallenge/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]. Event photos can be shared across social media channels using the #lvcc2025 hashtag.
