Barbara Bennett, Wingfield and Paradise Parks: Help us help you 🌳

Help shape the future of these spaces View as Webpage March 4, 2024 Reno Connect | Parks & Recreation Connecting Citizens to our Community Take the survey on Wingfield and Barbara Bennett Parks! Take the survey on Teglia's Paradise Park Help Us Help You: You're Asked to Take Surveys on City Parks! Se necesitan comentarios: se pide al público que realice encuestas sobre los parques de la ciudad As the City of Reno continues to develop Teglia’s Paradise Park and the Wingfield and Barbara Bennett Parks Master Plan, two surveys are now open for you to provide even more feedback to shape the future of these spaces. We initially put out a request for residents to take similar surveys in 2023, however, after evaluating initial feedback, the Parks and Recreation Department determined that more research and community input is needed before further development can take place. We're asking you to take this quick, 18-question survey for Barbara Bennett and Wingfield Parks in Downtown Reno. The questions cover a variety of topics to help the City and the design team better understand community preferences for amenities, locations, extent of renovations and new park features. You can also help us shape the future of Paradise Park by providing feedback in this this survey. In 25 questions, you can identify park improvements that accommodate a wide range of ages, abilities, and interests for years to come. This input will be used to help create a master plan for Paradise Park. The survey is also available in Spanish. “Paradise, Wingfield, and Barbara Bennett Parks are some of the most used and most frequented outdoor spaces in our entire parks system,” said Nathan Ullyot, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Reno. “These surveys are one of the ways residents are able to voice what they want their parks to be. It takes input from all to continue creating a community that isn’t just livable, but loveable.” You can take the survey online starting March 1, 2024 through March 15, 2024. Each survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete. Thanks!
