巨大地震の発生する可能性がふだんよりも高まっています。
南海トラフ地震が発生した場合，本市においても最大震度６弱の揺れと３．６ｍの津波による大きな被害が予想されています。そのため，次の点にご注意ください。
１ 日頃からの地震の備えとして以下をご確認ください。
・避難場所，避難経路，周辺の危険個所
・家族との連絡手段
・家具の固定
・非常持出品の準備
２ 揺れを感じたら直ちに身の安全を確保してください。
・家具の転倒や落下物のない部屋，机の下など，安全なスペースへの避難
・頭部や足元の保護
・屋外ではブロック塀などの倒壊，看板やガラスの落下に注意
・揺れが止んだら，余震による家屋倒壊を避けて，最寄りの避難場所に避難
・沿岸部や川沿いでは速やかに高台へ避難
現在の臨時情報は，少なくとも８月１５日まで続く見込みです。
ちょうどお盆休みの時期になりますので，平素は市内にお住まいでない親戚や遠方からのお客様にも，ＷＥＢ版ハザードマップ等を活用し，最寄りの避難所や周辺の危険個所など，丁寧にご説明いただきますようお願いします。
今後もテレビやラジオ，スマートフォンなどで気象庁や市からの情報を注視してください。
