In these unprecedented times, our community is united now more than ever. When faced with challenges, we help our neighbors and take care of our own. That’s why we’re launching One Tampa.

While our first responders, healthcare professionals, and essential employees are working hard to keep our city running, others in our community are unable to work at all. Many families and businesses have been directly impacted by COVID-19, and we want to do all that we can to support residents when they need it most.

The One Tampa Relief Now; Rise Together program will provide direct payments to cover essential rent, mortgage, and utility expenses for those who have been most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

For qualifying individuals and families that live in the city and are facing pay cuts, this program will cover up to $1,000 for rent or mortgage and up to $250 for essential utilities. These funds will serve as a lifeline as we bridge the gap while waiting for state and federal relief funds to kick in.

For qualifying small businesses in the most vulnerable business sectors, the program will cover up to $4,000 for rent or mortgage, and up to $1,000 for utilities. Because our hardest hit businesses deserve our support too as they work to keep employees on the payrolls.

In these difficult times, we have seen so much generosity from our community, and One Tampa is only possible thanks to those who have stepped up to lend a helping hand. The Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tampa Bay Rays have each donated $100,000 to One Tampa -- donations that will directly impact the lives of our neighbors, friends, family, and local business owners.

But we need more help.
