The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department recently held a community celebration event for their big win of the 2021 National GOLD Medal Award for Excellence in Park & Recreation Management. Community sports partners like the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tampa Bay Rays all joined in the fun with City staff and residents.

The City of Tampa's Fleet Management department will be looking to hire for the following areas for Fleet Mechanic II (https://jobapscloud.com/Tampa/sup/bulpreview.asp?R1=211004&R2=003722&R3=005) as vacancies become available: Heavy Equipment, Truck Line, and Sedan Line. This position is responsible for performing a variety of technical maintenance and major repair tasks of average difficulty on automotive, fire apparatus, emergency vehicles, construction and/or special vehicles and equipment that are gasoline, diesel and/or propane powered.
