平成７年（1995年）７月11日、梅雨前線の停滞により、夜から総雨量453mmの集中豪雨に見舞われ、姫川では、上刈地先で堤防決壊、蒲原温泉付近で河岸が侵食されたことによる大規模崩落が発生、流域内においては、家屋38戸が全半壊、約240戸が床上・床下浸水となったほか、JR大糸線が長期不通となる大被害となりました。
近年、全国各地では、大雨による洪水が発生しています。いつ起こるかわからない水害に備え、避難行動を確認しておきましょう。
梅雨も末期になり、雨の日が続いています。気象情報に注意をいただき、災害への備えをお願いします。
