The Social Services Professional joins the King County Veterans Program (KCVP) to provide comprehensive services, including assessment, counseling, guidance, and supportive services to eligible veterans, service members, and their families. This posting may be used to fill other similar Career Service Social Services Professional positions within KCVP for up to 6 months after filling the available position. KCVP has two office locations: Tukwila and Northgate/Seattle. This position may be assigned at either of the two locations depending on operational need.

*WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS:* This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, full-time on-site at either the Tukwila or Northgate/Seattle location, depending on operational need. This position meets the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible with supervisory pre-approval. This position is represented by PSEU Local 519.

 

*MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:* This position has been designated Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather.
