In the meantime, we’ve had a full week with the grand opening of the new Centennial Way Park South, which was recently covered in a great article by SF Gate, Festa Italiana, and the State of the City address. You can also register to vote by mail or in person on California’s election website. Voter registration deadlines Online registration deadline: Monday, October 21, 2024 Register by mail deadline: Must be postmarked by Monday, October 21, 2024 In person registration deadline: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 Register   Presidential General Election - 2024 Vote Center The Presidential General Election 2024 is just around the corner! Beginning Monday, October 7, cast your vote at the Library Parks & Recreation Center, 2ND floor Community Room or drop off your mail ballot at the Ballot Drop Boxes that are located in three locations: 1) outside the L|PR parking lot/playground area; 2) in front of City Hall; or 3) in the City Hall parking lot off Miller Avenue. In pursuit of our City’s carbon neutrality goals, I am pleased to announce that the City has launched a new Energy Dashboard on our City’s website. This dashboard enables the City to track all our buildings' energy usage with the goal of meeting our goals of reducing emissions by 40% by 2030, 80% by 2040, and to finally become carbon neutral by 2045.
