The city of Las Vegas seeks to commission artists to create an original sculpture and an original mural for the Westside Education & Training Center, scheduled for completion in 2025. The sculpture and mural will be funded by the city's Percent for the Arts program. The project evaluation panel has selected four artists from the Public Art Program’s Pre-Qualified Sculptor List [ https://files.lasvegasnevada.gov/cultural-affairs/ArtsRegistry/Pre-Qualified_Sculptors_2024-compressed.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] and four artists from the Pre-Qualified Muralist List [ https://files.lasvegasnevada.gov/cultural-affairs/ArtsRegistry/Pre-Qualified_Muralists_2023.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]. These artists were then asked to develop design proposals, which will be presented to the panel and attending members of the public.

 

Come see the semi-finalists present their designs and discuss their work! This event is open to the public and you are invited!
