The City of Bellevue is seeking to fill a *Senior Budget Analyst* position within the Fiscal Management Division of the Finance & Asset Management Department (FAM). In this role, you will not only be responsible for the traditional aspects of financial management and analysis, but you’ll also be responsible for providing critical business support to lines of business leads through financial performance reporting, technical budget and financial analysis, and serving as a financial expert to support line of business owners in the development and monitoring of the department’s biennial budgets.  The position reports to the Fiscal Manager of FAM and works with various lines of business leads throughout the department.

As the perfect candidate you will have strong customer service values, have a passion for process improvement, be comfortable with ambiguity and embrace change and diversity. At the same time, you are detailed-oriented and yet able to understand and communicate the big picture. You possess the expertise to handle the nuanced financial planning and analysis required for diverse programs, ensuring that each line of business unique needs is met. You provide independent financial analysis, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and are a team player that works with others to solve problems. You should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and be able to interface with a variety of software applications to obtain data.
