Artist Talk: Amy Sol & Ross Takahashi

Historic Fifth Street School Auditorium
401 S. Fourth St.

Tuesday, Oct. 29, 6-7 p.m.

Enjoy the next installment of the Public Art Education Series Artist Talks! Amy Sol and Ross Takahashi, based in Las Vegas, have showcased their artwork globally. Their artistic approaches are distinct, but they collaborate to merge their worlds, creating fresh, hybrid pieces. Amy Sol's art seamlessly blends folk art and nature, evoking serenity and tranquility, while Ross Takahashi's work provides a glimpse into our collective effects on ecosystems and ourselves through magical realism. Together, their collaborations have led to the creation of murals and bronze works. As an artist team, Amy and Ross aim to bring the best of both of their art practices to engage the community and manifest their creative vision.

Amy and Ross will be discussing their collaborative process and sharing insights into their challenges and successes as working artists.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking at the Historic Fifth Street School is free.
