July 19, Update: Lane closures continue through July 26 for portions of Liliuokalani Street in Kīlauea

KĪLAUEA – Portions of Liliuokalani Street, from Kolo Road to Kuke Street, will remain closed on weekdays until Friday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as contractors continue road resurfacing work in the area.

*Lane closures scheduled for portions of Liliuokalani Street in Kīlauea July 18 and July 19*

KĪLAUEA – The Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupono Builders are announcing that portions of Liliuokalani Street, from Kolo Road to Kuke Street, will be closed July 18 to July 19, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The closures are necessary for road resurfacing work.

One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions. Access will be provided for residents in the area.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
