Extended Saturday work hours on north Mercer Island through August 2025
Approved work hours on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7.p.m.
Extended work hours for crews have been approved for Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in all project areas across north Mercer Island. These extended hours are expected to be in place through August 30, 2025.
Extending Saturday work hours will help crews work more efficiently.* These updated work hours were approved by the City of Mercer Island and will affect areas 1-6 in the map below.*

What to expect:
* Approved work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
* All work will be performed in the public right-of-way.
* Noise, dust, and vibrations typical of an active construction project.
* Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
* Garbage, recycling, composting, and mail service will be maintained.

* Construction schedules can change based on factors such as site conditions, weather, and material availability.
