4th of July Parade Cancelled [ https://fremont4th.org/ ]
Fremont 4th of July Parade Cancelled

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the City of Fremont was notified that the Fremont 4th of July nonprofit organization was regrettably cancelling this year’s parade.

For more than two decades the annual parade has been organized by a volunteer nonprofit organization, with financial sponsorship support from the City of Fremont, to help offset the cost of road closures and public safety services.  The parade organizers hope to bring back the parade in 2026, and issued the following statement:

"“Dear Community Members and Supporters,"

"We regret to inform you that the Fremont 4th of July Parade will not take place this year. Due to some challenges, and moreover, a team member facing a serious health issue, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year's parade."

"While we won't be celebrating with a parade on Paseo Padre Parkway in 2025, our commitment to the community remains strong. We are already planning for a spectacular return in 2026, when we will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence-a milestone worth celebrating in grand style."

"Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience during this time. We will count on strong community partnership and look forward to coming back bigger and better than ever in 2026!"

"For more information, to contact us, or to make donations, please visit our website: "*"https://fremont4th.org/"; [ https://a1e0.engage.squarespace-mail.com/r?m=684627ba839ec97dba59b385&u=https%3A%2F%2Ffremont4th.org%2F%3Fss_source%3Dsscampaigns%26ss_campaign_id%3D684627474e2532358c89b53e%26ss_email_id%3D684627ba839ec97dba59b385%26ss_campaign_name%3D2025%2BFremont%2B4th%2Bof%2BJuly%2BParade%2BCancellation%26ss_campaign_sent_date%3D2025-06-09T00%253A16%253A08Z&w=605a974facd51f560ed29d74&c=b_684627474e2532358c89b53e&l=en-US&s=pOLCk-8Axm-wlP8yZSzIV7qR8p8%3D ]*
