令和7年３月１８・１９日（火・水）、吉祥寺北町２丁目付近において、電動自転車バッテリーの盗難被害が多数発生しています。
★電動自転車をお持ちのご家庭は、駐輪場またはご自宅の敷地内に停める場合でも、必ずバッテリーを取り外し、室内で保管するようにしてください。バッテリーに鍵をかけても、壊され、盗まれてしまいます。犯人は盗んだバッテリーを売却して現金化するつもりです。
★犯人は、「防犯カメラのない場所」、「通行人が少ない住宅街」、「誰でも立ち入ることのできる駐輪場」等を狙っています。
「平日は仕事で留守にしており、電動自転車を家の前に置いている」
「アパートの駐輪場で、人目に付きづらい場所に駐輪している」等、お心当たりのある方は、電動自転車バッテリーを室内保管にすることで、被害のリスクを減らせます。
駐輪場を物色している被害などを見かけたら、速やかに１１０番通報をお願いします。
