Dear Neighbors and Business Owners,

We are thrilled to update you that the RapidRide J Line project [ https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/transit-program/transit-plus-multimodal-corridor-program/rapidride-roosevelt?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] is officially in underway following a successful groundbreaking ceremony in the University District. Yesterday, Mayor Bruce Harrell, alongside King County Executive Dow Constantine and other local leaders, commemorated this milestone, marking the beginning of an exciting phase in improving Seattle's neighborhoods and transportation system. The RapidRide J Line is set to enhance our community with bus-priority lanes, expanded protected bike routes, and comprehensive street upgrades, among other vital infrastructure improvements.

As we move forward, you will soon notice our construction team mobilizing materials and commencing work in specified areas. We look forward to sharing more details about the construction activities and locations in the coming days.
