3 Upcoming Input Meetings View as Webpage April 17, 2024 Reno Connect | Public Safety Connecting Citizens to our Community   RPD is looking for community input on response and deployment The Reno Police Department is working with Matrix Consulting Group to analyze how the department can provide the best service to our community. Part of this process includes gathering public feedback on the response and deployment of police resources. Topics that may be discussed during these public forums include: Law enforcement service level expectations and response times for both emergency and non-emergency incidents. Presence and visibility of patrol officers in neighborhoods, community engagement, and proactive policing activities. Programs and direct participation in community activities. Dialogue and communication on important community issues. The Reno Police Department has three upcoming events, offered both virtual and in person, to ensure community members have access to this important conversation. The events are as follows: 4/18 1 – 3 p.m.: Hybrid/physical location at McKinley Ats & Culture Boardroom (Spanish assistance available) 4/23 6 – 8 p.m.: Hybrid/physical location at City Hall Council Chambers (Spanish assistance available) 4/25 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.: Virtual The content discussed will be the same at all input meetings.
