新潟県では、２０日昼前にかけて低い土地の浸水に、２０日夜遅くにかけて土砂災害に警戒してください。また、２１日にかけて土砂災害や低い土地の浸水、河川の増水に注意・警戒し、落雷や竜巻などの激しい突風、降ひょうに注意してください。
［気象概況］
２０日は北日本を東に進む低気圧からのびる前線が北陸地方へ南下し、２１日にかけて停滞するでしょう。
前線や低気圧に向かって暖かく湿った空気が流れ込むため、２１日にかけて大気の非常に不安定な状態が続くでしょう。新潟県では２１日にかけて雷を伴い断続的に激しい雨が降り、大雨となる所がある見込みです。
雨雲が予想より発達したり停滞した場合は、警報級の大雨となる可能性があります。これまでの雨や令和６年能登半島地震の影響で地盤の緩んでいる所があり、少ない雨量でも土砂災害の危険度が高まるおそれがあります。
また、２２日は台風第１４号から変わった温帯低気圧が日本海から三陸沖へ進むため、警報級の大雨となるおそれがあります。
