IN THE NEWS

NEW Citywide Trash Cart Program Begins Tuesday, October 1
The City of Grapevine, in partnership with Republic Services, will implement a new citywide trash cart program, effective October 1. The new trash collection vehicles are automated just like your current recycling program. All waste must be placed in the provided cart to be collected on your regular trash days. All other services will remain unchanged.
Trash Cart Details:
1. Each household will be provided with a new 95-gallon trash cart.
2. The standard cart size is 95 gallons, but a 65-gallon cart is available for those who need a smaller cart. Visit bit.ly/4dRFbjW to request the 65-gallon cart.
3. All waste must fit inside your new cart. All cart lids must open towards the roadway. Visit bit.ly/4e2FPuH for full details regarding this new program.
For those in need of a smaller (65-gallon) trash cart, please email Republic Services at GVcarts@RepublicServices.com. The Republic Services team will respond with a scheduled date to exchange after October 15. For those who requested a smaller cart before September 13, those carts should be exchanged this week. If an exchange for the smaller cart was requested after September 13, those carts will be exchanged after October 15. Please visit bit.ly/4e2FPuH for full details about this program.
