Sodegaura City holds "Tea Time with the Mayor" where the mayor directly exchanges opinions with various organizations and citizen groups in order to reflect citizens' opinions in the city planning process. This is done to provide an opportunity for dialogue with citizens and to further promote citizen participation in city government.
