[Story]
Japan in the near future, when the birthrate is declining and the population is aging further. Plan 75," a system that gives people the right to choose life and death at the age of 75, was passed by the Diet and ・ enacted.
Although initially controversial, it was accepted by the public as a solution to the problems of a hyper-aged society.
Michi Kakutani, a 78-year-old woman who has lost her husband and lives quietly on her own, works as a room cleaner at a hotel, but
one day she is suddenly laid off because of her advanced age.
She is about to lose her place of residence, and begins to consider applying for "Plan 75.
Meanwhile, Hiromu, who works at the "Plan 75" application counter at city hall,
and Yaoko, a call center staff member who supports elderly people who choose to die until the day comes,
begin to question the nature of the "Plan 75" system.
