Hailed internationally as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation and cited by Guitar World Magazine as “the world's biggest blues guitarist,” Bonamassa has almost single-handedly redefined the blues-rock genre and brought it into the mainstream.

Meet Charles Lewis, a living Phoenix jazz legend, at ASU Kerr's restored 1899 Steinway grand piano! He's bringing his fabulous friends and they'll offer up their full, rich, six-man sound that includes horns, percussion, guitar and more. Experience Latin jazz at the hands of a beloved and talented Phoenix bandleader with beautiful history in the Valley as a dancer, jazz player and spiritual touchstone. As always, Lewis will share personal tales and experiences about ASU Kerr namesake Louise Lincoln Kerr.

The gently rhythmic soundscapes of Quarteto Nuevo are driven by soprano saxophone, woodwinds, cello, guitar and percussion. You can be a part of their enchanting live concert recording of their "Jazz Road Suite" at ASU Kerr! This performance is a unique tribute to the American West, drawing inspiration from the landscapes of Arizona, Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming. This chamber jazz quartet with a global influence skillfully weaves together music from ancient cultures and distant corners of the world, creating a dreamy, captivating groove and energy.

Conductor Delyana Lazarova returns, leading ROCO's full chamber orchestra in a high-octane program brimming with dynamic energy! Elfrida Andree’s colorful, lyrical Symphony No. 2 in A Minor, with its exuberant opening theme, paves the way for the U.S. premiere of Richard Danielpour's "Voci del Purgatorio", a journey to rebirth - the second movement of his Symphony in Three Movements After the Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri. Then, thrill to Jessica Meyer’s Go Big or Go Home – a work “written from a place of self-realization, empowerment, and celebration of how joyous life can be”, featuring blues guitar phenom Clay Melton and his band. The Houston Youth Symphony returns as special guest, with a side-by-side performance of Franz Schubert's richly textured and emotionally laden Overture in the Italian Style. Rounding out the program is the Fantasie Homage to Schubert, an alluring work by Bulgarian-British composer Dobrinka Tabakova, whose distinct soundworld has been called “riveting, piercingly beautiful and frequently radiant”.

Join guitarist and singer Alpha Yaya Diallo, from Guinea in West Africa, who has earned an unbeatable reputation for the excellence of his musicianship and the excitement of his live shows. Diallo is a three-time JUNO award winner.

Many composers’ music reflects their ancestral homelands. Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, the most popular concerto ever composed for guitar and orchestra, is inspired by the Royal Gardens at Aranjuez in Spain and features spellbinding Spanish guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas as soloist. Sibelius’ Symphony No. 5 begins with the breadth and majesty of a Nordic landscape and ends with one of the most dramatic finales in classical music. Guest conductor Ankush Bahl leads The Phoenix Symphony in Armenian-American composer Alan Hovhaness’ popular and meditative Symphony No. 2, “Mysterious Mountain.”

2022 年4 月に君津市民ホールの主催により発足した南房総初の本格的なフル編成ビッグバンド。
メンバーは簡易オーディションで選ばれた、かずさ地区のジャズ好き社会人によって構成されている。
また指導者には君津市出身のジャズトロンボーン奏者、苅込博之氏を迎え、月2回の練習はレッスン形式で行われている。
発足以来、技術的な進歩が目覚ましく短期間で初のリサイタルを行うまでに成長。
今後の目標としては名実共にかずさ地区を代表するポピュラー音楽団体となること。

10回の講座を通じて、ギターのコードを覚え、懐かしの昭和歌謡をはじめ様々な曲を弾き語りしてみませんか。

フィリッポス・マノロウディス (2001 年ギリシャ生まれ) は、同世代を代表するクラシックギタリストの 1 人。
7歳の時にアレクサンドロス・パリシディスのもとでギターを弾き始め、翌年からフォティス・コウソソドロスに師事。
2019年、ダルムシュタットの音楽アカデミーでティルマン・ホップシュトックのギタークラスを卒業、学士号を取得した。
2015年に初のリサイタル開催。その後ギリシャ、ドイツ、オーストリア、ブルガリア、ベルギー、イタリアで多くのコンサートを行っている。
2018年3月にはブルガリアで初のツアーを行い、その後アテネの「メガロン・コンサート・ホール」でも演奏会を行っている。
今後、中国、コスタリカ、アメリカ、ブラジル、日本で公演する予定。
フィリッポスは約 30 の国際ギターコンクールで優勝・入賞を果たしており、その中にはドイツの「コブレンツ国際ギターコンクール2022」第1位や日本の「第65回東京国際ギターコンクール」優勝なども含まれている。
レオ・ブローウェル、デヴィッド・ラッセル、ゾーラン・デュキッチ、ジュディカエル・ペロワ、アニエロ・デシデリオ、オスカー・ギリアなど世界的に有名なギタリストによるギターのマスタークラスを受講。
ダダリオの契約アーティストであり、コウムリディスの手工ギターを使用している。
