1. Entry Period : September 12, 2022 ( Monday ) to October 7, 2011 ( Friday ) *Saturday and Sunday ・ excluding holidays
2. Rice to be judged : 2022 Kisarazu-grown Uruchi rice, 2 kg of brown rice
3. Eligibility : Those who have an address in Kisarazu City and grow rice in Kisarazu City
4. Participating Varieties : No more than 3 varieties per business entity, one variety per entry. The moisture content must be strictly 13-16%.
5. Reception : Kisarazu Agricultural Cooperative Nakago Economic Center or Tomiraida Economic Center

1. Primary Judging
All the submitted samples will be subjected to a numerical analysis by Shizuoka Seiki Co. The first round of judging will be held by Thursday, October 13 ( ) and the top 15 scores will advance to the final ( taste sensory evaluation ) on Thursday, October 20 ( ). However, if two or more samples from the same ( household ) remain in the top 15 after the first round of judging, only the top 1 sample from each business will advance to the final judging.
2. Final Judging
Rice will be pounded by the Secretariat according to the characteristics ( of the rice ) such as moisture content, and then cooked at the competition site under the same standards ・ conditions. Judging will be conducted by a panel of about 15 judges, including experts such as rice ・ taste testers, who will conduct a sensory evaluation of the taste.
The judges evaluate five items of rice: appearance, aroma, taste, consistency, and hardness, and select and vote on three samples of rice that they find tasty.
