I bought this djembe several years ago at a specialty djembe store in Brooklyn. It is a traditional African djembe, not mass-produced, handmade, with a wooden body and carvings. I think the part to be struck is animal skin. The sound is good and it has been used only a few times, so it is in good condition. The size of the djembe is 11 inches in diameter at the striking point and 20 inches tall overall, making it somewhat small and not very heavy, making it easy to use. It also comes with a djembe-specific backpack, making it easy to carry around. At the time, $ it cost about 400. I would recommend it to musician and those who are going to start playing djembe. We are limited to those who can come and pick it up because our back is a little bit not good. The location is Astoria.
