King County Metro Transit is hiring a detail-oriented and collaborative Administrative Specialist III to support the Capital Division’s Project Management Unit and Transit Technology Project Management Unit. This position supports the development of specialized technical Capital Projects, ranging from transit passenger facilities to information technology improvements. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to use their organizational and administrative skills to support two teams of project managers. The ideal candidate enjoys making an impact through administrative support, is highly organized, acts with a sense of urgency, and can prioritize tasks effectively. Duties will include calendar management, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, securing approvals, purchasing, and reconciling expenses. These duties are performed in collaboration with an administrative team, often with short deadlines, and with the broad understanding and application of policies and procedures. 

The Administrative Specialist III will play a critical role supporting the growth of King County Metro Transit as we expand service to serve out growing community where needs are the greatest.
