Holiday Highlights
People making holiday wreaths

In November, North Bellevue Community Center offered its annual holiday wreath making workshop. Participants were given the opportunity to create their very own evergreen wreaths. The circular wreath form as a symbol for strength, has been circulating out of ancient Greece and Rome and would later be an adopted symbol of everlasting life when made from evergreen tree clippings. This workshop was funded by the King County Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy.

 

North Bellevue Community Center held their annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, an event partially funded by the King County Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy. At this year’s event we invited the Cara Harp Ensemble to serenade our community members for a warm welcome into the holiday season. We would like to give special thanks to our community members and City of Bellevue staff who volunteered at the event. Join us, December 17, for our Holiday Luncheon!

Trips & Tours

We have some exciting trips to come this Fall season. Trip fee includes round-trip transportation to and from North Bellevue Community Center and guide for docent led tours when applicable. Want to get more involved with the North Bellevue community? The City of Bellevue is seeking volunteers at North Bellevue Community Center for food service and kitchen help, activity leaders in knitting, crocheting, literature programs, youth sports and coaching. Applications are available at the NBCC front desk.
