October 10th is World Mental Health Day. This year’s theme is “It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace.” Nearly one in five US adults live with a mental illness 2 [ https://www.osha.gov/workplace-stress#ref2 ]. It’s important that employers talk [ https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/talkinfographic-english.zip ] to their workers and understand how to foster a mental health-friendly work culture.

The idea of talking about stress and mental health at work might feel scary or too personal. However, there are ways in which employers and workers can support each other.

Día mundial de la salud mental

El 10 de octubre es el Día Mundial de la Salud Mental. El tema de este año es “Es momento de priorizar la salud mental en el lugar de trabajo”.
