King County Parks division is currently seeking *two (2) Term-limited Program Managers* to join our dynamic team of skilled grant professionals. Together, we will work to transform our parks and recreational spaces, creating opportunities, that drive meaningful change in our communities.

*About the Role:*
In this position (Project/Program Manager II), you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of parks and recreation by supporting multiple grant programs and collaborating with grantees to bring transformative community projects to life. Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
* *Grant Program Support*: Collaborate with grantees and internal teams to bring grant awards to contract, ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting. You'll help advance the Parks mission by facilitating grantmaking to local and Tribal governments, nonprofits, and community groups.
* *Outreach and Technical Assistance*: Conduct outreach and provide comprehensive technical assistance to various applicants, ensuring they have the guidance needed to succeed.
* *Request for **Application Development and Review*: Partner on the process of developing a request for grant application and reviewing and evaluating grant applications to select impactful community projects.
* *Grant Management*: Manage grants and contracts in accordance with standard operating procedures and policies, ensuring compliance and effective program delivery.
*About the Team:*
The Parks Community Investments and Engagement Unit is responsible for a variety of grant portfolios that fund community parks and recreation initiatives across the region. Our programs cover aquatic facilities, capital projects, open spaces, river corridors, and more. Some of the grant programs you'll work with include:
* Youth Amateur Sports Grant 
* Community Partnership Grant
* Parks Capital and Open Space Grant
* Aquatics Facilities Grant
* Open Space- River Corridors Grant
* Healthy Communities and Parks Fund* *
