Cal Ave. Tree Lighting & Holiday Celebration The the City, Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce, and businesses of Cal Ave. on Saturday, December 7 to enjoy holiday music, tree decorating, and tree lighting beginning at 1:30 p.m. and culminating with the lighting at 4:30 p.m. Celebrate the season, have fun, and support our Cal Ave. businesses at this free family friendly event. Holiday Giving: Holiday Toy Drive & Meowy Howlidays Pet Supply Drive Drop off new and unwrapped toys, books, or other gifts for local youth in need at any Palo Alto Fire Station, Palo Alto Library, Lucie Stern Community Center, or Mitchell Park Community Center through December 13. Donate unopened cat and dog food, treats, pet toys, or litter to the Palo Alto Animal Control’s pet supply drive at Palo Alto City Hall and Palo Alto Police Department lobbies, Mitchell Park and Rinconada Libraries, or at Pets in Need Palo Alto through December 19.
