08/03/2024 - Enterprise Testing Services Maintenance

*Summary*

In order to keep up to date with the latest versions and security advisories, the CMS Cloud team will be performing maintenance updates on Enterprise Testing tools.

*Actions we are taking*

Upgrade Selenium Box to the latest version

Update Selenium Box Hub and Executors with the latest Amazon Linux 2 Gold Image for CMS Cloud.

*When is this happening?*

Start time: Saturday 08/03/2024 at 9:00 a.m. ET

End time: Saturday 08/03/2024 at 11:59 a.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

All AWS Commercial and GovCloud customers of Selenium Box.

*What is the impact? *

Customers should expect downtime for the service as instances are restarted within the maintenance window.

08/04/2024 - Marketplace SSM Patching - PROD

*

SSM Linux & Windows Vulnerability Patching

*Actions we are taking:*

As part of our normal patching, the CMS Cloud team will apply the latest Windows and Linux patches on Sunday, 08/04/2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET.  The week's patches will impact the PROD* *environment for the affected Marketplace applications noted below. 

*When is this happening?* 

Start Time: Sunday, 08/04/2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET

End Time:  Sunday, 08/04/2024 at 6:00 a.m ET

*Who will be impacted?*

FFM_Opera, FFM MLMS, FFM SERTS-SERVIS, FFM_TWS, VAMS, CRMS, XES - CyberArk, XES - Service Virtualization, MCIM, zONE

*What is the impact? *

Patches will be transmitted to the affected areas. For some ADOs, reboots may occur depending upon the tags applied.

*08/04/2024 - BigFix Relay Affiliation - Phase 2*

*Summary*

Grouping of BigFix relays for load balancing.

*Actions we are taking*

As part of system maintenance, the CMS Cloud team will streamline client communication with the BigFix relays.  This maintenance is the second of two phases.

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Sunday, 08/04/2024 at 10:00 a.m. ET

End Time: Sunday, 08/04/2024 at 5:30 p.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

The users will not be impacted by this maintenance.

*What is the impact? *

The maintenance will change the configuration file from manual to automatic relay selection and update relay affiliation settings in a limited subset of the total environment. This change will not cause endpoints to restart, so customers will experience no impact or outage during the change. 

*Benefits of the change*

Upon completion of this change, client communication will have improved performance.
