Alarm systems are designed to safeguard lives and property when they are correctly installed, operated, and maintained. However, improper use or maintenance can lead to a significant increase in the number of calls requiring police dispatch.

We also offer an Alarm Awareness course, which covers the basics of the alarm program. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a $50 waiver, applicable to any false alarm fee. This waiver may be used once per year.

Registration is underway for Mesa residents for the Parks and Recreation 2024-2025 winter season. We offer programs and activities to people of all ages and abilities.
New this year are adult co-ed sand volleyball, senior softball, fleece blanket making for teens and interpretive ranger hikes for all ages.
Returning winter favorites include the Jr. Suns basketball league, youth cheerleading clinic, youth Playball multi-sport, adaptive cheerleading and after school programs. Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of special interest classes like belly dance basics, gymnastics, Lego Roboteering, Zumba Kids, Tai Chi and dog manners.
