From responding to a record number of calls, to preparing to open the Public Safety Center, the Reno Police Department is proud to share its achievements of 2023 and goals for 2024. Key stats from 2023 include: Over 72,000 total calls for service Nearly 35,000 police reports completed 1,835 citations issued 8,326 arrests made, including 811 D.U.I. arrests 2,971 traffic accident responses 26 new and lateral officers hired Over 75 community events attended The video annual report highlights specific achievements, challenges and impactful moments in an engaging visual narrative.
