Unemployment Insurance Weekly Claims Report [ http://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/eta/eta20241010 ] 10/10/2024 08:00 AM EDT
In the week ending October 5, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 258,000, an increase of 33,000 from the previous week's unrevised level of 225,000. This is the highest level for initial claims since August 5, 2023 when it was 258,000.
