As part of our normal patching, the CMS Cloud team will apply the latest Windows and Linux patches on Thursday, 06/20/2024 at 5:00 p.m. ET.  The week's patches will impact the DEV/TEST environment for the affected Marketplace applications noted below. 

*When is this happening? *(Date adjusted for the Holiday)**

Start Time: Thursday, 06/20/2024 at 5:00 p.m. ET

End Time:  Thursday, 06/20/2023 at 11:00 p.m ET

*Who will be impacted?*

FFM_Opera, FFM MLMS, FFM SERTS-SERVIS, FFM_TWS, VAMS, CRMS, XES - CyberArk, XES - Service Virtualization, MCIM, zONE

*What is the impact? *

Patches will be transmitted to the affected areas. For some ADOs, reboots may occur depending upon the tags applied.

06/21/2024 - DevOps Services Maintenance

*Summary*
CMS Cloud will be performing maintenance updates on its DevOps tools.

*Actions we are taking*


* Upgrade nodes to latest EKS gold image for CMS Cloud Jfrog, CBJ and SonarQube
* Upgrade CloudBees Jenkins CI 
* Upgrade EKS and relevant add-ons for JFrog 

*When is this happening?*
Start time: Friday, 06/21/2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET
End time:  Saturday, 06/22/2024 at 1:00 a.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*
All AWS Commercial and GovCloud customers of CloudBees, JFrog, and SonarQube.

*What is the impact?*
Customers should expect a short downtime for each service as instances are restarted within the maintenance window

06/23/24 - BigFix Endpoint Config Updates- Phase 1

*Summary*


* Automated deployment of endpoint configuration file changes.

*Actions we are taking*

As part of system maintenance, the CMS BigFix team will apply configuration changes to client endpoints.  The changes to the client configuration will effectively point the client to a new relay server and retain the current one as a back up. 

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Sunday, 06/23/2024 at 9:00 a.m. ET

End Time: Sunday, 06/23/2024 at 5:30 p.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

 All AWS Commercial accounts with the BigFix agent installed on the client.

*What is the impact? *

The configuration file change will not cause the endpoints to restart.  The customers will experience no impact or outage during the configuration file change. 

*Benefits of the change*

Upon completion of this change, the client configuration will enhance endpoint communications with the relay.

*Summary*

In order to keep up to date with the latest versions and security advisories, the batCAVE PROD Infrastructure will be upgraded to the latest Gold Image and the nodes will be rotated. 

*Actions we are taking*

Update the AWS AMI Gold Image to the May 2024 image release by performing node rotations.

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Thursday, 06/27/2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

End Time: Friday, 06/28/2024 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

*Who will be impacted?*

batCAVE ADO development teams and their users: FFSDCS, QMMS, SDL, DACS, CyberGeek, EPPE, eRPT, SIGNAL.

*What is the impact?* 

Customers should expect a short downtime as instances are restarted within the maintenance window.
