This is a new community engagement initiative where residents can hear from the Mayor, ask questions and learn about Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow. Martin Luther King Parade

The City of Tampa’s Martin Luther King Parade (https://mlkjrparade.com/parade/) is a fun, exciting and family-friendly event occurring annually on the national holiday commemorating the birth of one of our greatest American heroes, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join Mayor Castor and community leaders on January 17th at 12pm to enjoy floats, marching bands, equestrian groups, and decorated vehicles of all types – all celebrating Dr. King’s legacy. The parade begins at Cuscaden Park.

HART Public Design Charrette

Help shape the future of Tampa Heights and surrounding communities by joining HART at an in-person design charrette on Saturday, January 15, at the Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association event space (2005 N Lamar Ave). Job of the Week

The Parks & Recreation team is looking for a Gymnastics Instructor (https://www.jobapscloud.com/Tampa/sup/bulpreview.asp?R1=211221&R2=001141&R3=001) I to teach children’s gymnastics and dance activities, assist in promoting gymnastics and dance exhibitions. This position will require a Standard First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate within six (6) months of appointment and a U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety Certification within one (1) year of appointment.
