Hiroyuki Karigome, who has been active in the Tokyo metropolitan area for many years, will also hold a jazz session in his hometown Kimitsu!

and "Swing Jazz" with sophisticated sounds

Lovers of classical music as well as jazz are invited to join this concert

Swing Jazz
After hearing Dixieland Jazz by black musicians,
white musicians who were fascinated by this music
constructed a more sophisticated jazz style.
This style is called swing jazz.
Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and other stars
came out. This is the golden age of jazz!


Dixieland Jazz

blacks in New Orleans in the early 1900s. The early jazz style is called
Dixieland jazz.
The blacks
who had a painful and harsh past of slavery
built a great music with an energy that seemed to defy the harshness of slavery.
