I purchased this djembe from a specialty djembe store in Brooklyn. It is a traditional African djembe, not mass-produced. It is made of wood, rope, and animal skins and has a good sound. The size is a little small, about 11 inches in diameter for the part of the drum to be played and 20 inches high for the whole drum, so it is not so heavy and easy to use. It comes with a special bag to carry it like a backpack. 10 years ago, it cost about $ 400, but I don't use it anymore, so I am looking for someone who can buy it. It has only been used a few times and is clean. I have a bit of a bad back so I will only sell it to someone who can come to Astoria （ possibly Long Island City ） to pick it up. It is a very nice instrument and I would recommend it to anyone who is a musician. Please feel free to contact us.
