ウェブギャラリーの無料の展覧会です。
江戸下町の伝統文化から、福を呼び込む縁起物を紹介します。江戸から伝わる小さな縁起物には、それぞれ語り継がれてきた謂われがあり、健康や商売繁盛、開運招福、安産、魔除けなどを願う日々の祈りが込められています。
本展では、火除けのおまじない「算盤狸（そろばんたぬき）」、地震除けの「地震鯰（じしんなまず）」、無病息災を願う「赤梟（あかふくろう）」など、江戸末期から続く江戸小玩具の老舗「助六」が厳選した縁起物約50点をご紹介致します。どれもてのひらに乗るサイズで、ひとつひとつが昔ながらの方法で手作りされています。手間隙かけた精緻な職人の技と、愛らしい縁起の良い江戸小玩具をお楽しみ下さい。
