Conceptual ・ Performing ・ Artist, Dancer, Choreographer and Director of the School ・ of ・ Hard Knocks, will present a performance that blends movement and improvised music, removing the boundaries between onstage and offstage and between artistic acts. The performance will remove the boundaries between onstage and backstage, and between artistic practice, and fuse movement and improvised music.

◆Exhibition Overview◆
Japan ・ Society （ JS ） Gallery is pleased to present "Kazuko Miyamoto: Challenging Lines," the first solo exhibition by Japanese-born, New York-based artist ・ Kazuko Miyamoto （ 1942 ） at an art institution.
This exhibition traces the career of Miyamoto, who contributed to the minimalist movement that developed mainly among men, challenging it with her unique method of expression and continuing to open avenues for it.
The exhibition also features Miyamoto's early paintings and drawings from the late 1960s, spatial structures from the 1970s, and milestone works from 1987 to the 2000s, including conceptual experiments in performance and the "Kimono" series. Many of the works will be on view for the first time, providing an important opportunity to examine the career of this talented artist.
