1886年に誕生したパサデナ（Pasadena）の街は、歴史を感じるヨーロッパ調の建物も多く、観光地としても人気があります。そんなパサデナには実は地元民にもあまり知られていないもう一つの顔があります。今回はそんな知られざるパサデナの街をご案内いたします。もちろんどこに行くかは当日をお楽しみに！
■ LA County Arboretum and Botanic Garden
ロサンゼルス郡アーボレタム・ボタニック・ガーデン（Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden）には世界中から集められた植物が生息しており、中には希少な品種や絶滅危惧種に指定されている植物もあります。テーマごとに造られた庭園がいくつもあり、自然の美しさと静けさで訪れる人を魅了しています。また、クジャクを始め、サギやアヒルなどの鳥類や、水生動物も多く生息しています。
